While you lot up North are shoveling snow it's riding weather down here in Melbourne Australia.

I took my 350 Saturno out last Sunday for a nice run through our wine growing region. Even better nothing fell off or came loose. The week before the rear exhaust mounting bolt disappeared and I had to cable tie it back on to get home. So far in several years of ownership I've also lost a side stand mounting bolt, half of the front guard, most of the rear tail light lens and the rear brake pad retaining pin whilst on the road.

It was blistering hot (over 40 degrees) by the time I headed home and I was quite pleased that the temperature gauge stayed in the green at all times. The Saturno was running beautifully throughout. I'm always impressed by how quick this little 350 is and how good it is in the corners.

When I finally arrived home I was hot, sweaty and bent into a pretzel shape. But nothing that a dip in the pool and a cold beer couldn't cure :)

Gidday Mike, great to hear how much you enjoy your Saturno. I miss my two 350s that I had in the early 2000s when I was over in England. I was already approaching retirement age and towards the end of my riding was finding the vibration just too much to contend with. Did manage to fix it a little but then the bent over double riding position took it's toll.. Came back home to Hervey Bay in 2014 but haven't ridden a bike since the Saturnos (except for a few trips over the pond to ride around NZ North Island.) Keep riding as much as you can, I miss it but at 75 now I doubt I could manage a scooter let alone a Saturno. All the best, Paul

Mike,
I use Loctite 222E on pretty much everything, it's anti vibration and easily dismantles, if it can keep a Harley 45" from shaking itself to bits then it will work on the Saturno!.
