Hi
As promised in the welcome mat section here is a thread covering the recommissioning of my pal Tom's 125 Arcore.
Thanks for the English manual in the files section - very handy. I got hold of the early Italian manual with the diagram for my wiring loom from
oldtimerworkshop.com/
We bought this bike blind except for some photos and I was happy to find everything looked better in the flesh that it did in the pictures when the bike arrived. Missing bits are the little grab rail, the front section of the chainguard (if there is such a thing) and the metal cover for the Superpratic throttle. The brakes seem pretty well adjusted and it came with a spare condenser. With most of the wiring unplugged as well I'm thinking there is an ignition problem. This bike is early so comes with the moped-like minimalist wiring and no battery. 25k Kms should be ok but there's not a lot of compression at the kick start. The paperwork suggests it was put on the historic register or maybe last used in 1979 and then might have been used again in 1990. Tom is Italian so he can try and unpick the truth!
